Happy New Year Taco Heads!

We hope you had a wonderful holiday and wish all the best for a wonderful '08. Last year was full of exciting and fun happenings at Jose’s and we plan to make '08 even better with some new ideas on the horizon. (Something’s always happening at Jose’s!) This news letter contains some reflections of our crazy '07 as well as some resolutions for '08. We’ve also got some suggestions for fine tuning those resolutions. Be sure to make it through the entire newsletter to get your free surprise! Anyways, stay tuned and keep it local. Jose's promise to you- We will never be predictable, generic or boring. (Especially in '08!) Ole for Jose's!

See ya at Jose's!

Doug (Big Chalupa) and Neal (Head Taco)

P. S. Kids eat free every Sunday all year long at Jose’s. (There’s that free word again.) It’s been a Jose’s tradition since 1980!

Reflections of 2007 (What a year!)

Jose’s went Trans Fat Free (Didn’t even miss those chemicals did ya?)

Lester Smith won the Bill Eddy motorcycle give away during Springdale’s Bike Night. (He threatened to kick my butt if he didn’t win. Boy was I sweatin’ it!)

Darren McFadden set a rushing record against South Carolina after eating cheese dip at Jose’s. (I take it there was no good cheese dip at the Cotton Bowl? Bummer. He would have run faster.)

Our Sunday all day $2 Grande Goblet Draft Beer special was a huge hit. (Let’s add $2 well drinks to that? What do ya think?)

Our Speedy Gonzales Lunch Menu was introduced with lunch specials starting at $4.99 designed to get you in and out fast! (Our food comes out almost as fast as Felix Jones returning a kick off. Ok. Not quite that fast.)

Springdale Jose’s expanded their patio. (Ok, so I didn’t expand it big enough. Stay tuned in '08!)

Our “Bring a Friend to Lunch” for free promotion brought people out of the wood work. (Wow. The power of the “free” word. Be ready for the next one!) It pays to be a member of Chimi Chat!

We offered a free restaurant with the purchase of one million dollars in gift certificates, but unfortunately no one took us up on it. (Offer's still good!)

Neal and Krisha got married and are expecting a baby girl. (The due date is Cinco de Mayo! How cool!)

Our catering business took off with a bang. We’ve even added a Tamale Buffet and Burrito Bar to the menu. (We plan to do even more in 08! Give us a call!) Click here for catering menu.

We received an award from Citiscapes for Best Margarita '07. (Should have seen them stumblin’ outta here after test drivin’ em.)

..............................................

Ok. Before we announce our Jose’s New Years Resolutions, we are asking for some help.

We are planning on having a $3 Frozen Margarita Special on Wednesday Nights. What should we call this night? (Wild Wednesday? Margarita Madness?) Please email me your suggestions.

Ole!

Jose’s New Years Resolutions

I will answer snail mail with as much enthusiasm
as I answer my email.

When I hear a funny joke, I will not reply with
“LOL… LOL!”

I will balance my check book. (On my nose.)

I will think of a password for my computer other
than “password”.

I will make a list of the people that were nasty to  me last year and get some pay back.
       (Sweeeeet!)

I will find out why the correspondent course on
“Mail Fraud” never showed up.

I will make sure I keep the cheese dip off my
lapel. (Lapel?)

I will not grab a hot plate even though the
server says that the plate is hot. (You would
be shocked at the number of people that do this!)

I will not rub my feet across the carpet and
immediately try to light the chip fryer.
       (Yours truly.)

I will suck up to the beer delivery guys to get
free beer.

Tips for setting realistic Goals:

Unrealistic Goal: “This year I will learn to speak Spanish.”

Realistic Goal: “This year I will eat more Mexican food at Jose’s to enhance my Spanish.”

Unrealistic Goal: “In the next month, I will lose 25 pounds.”

Realistic Goal: “Over the next year, taking it an ounce or two at a time, I will gain 25 pounds, and my face will bloat like a military life raft.”

..............................................

Ok, Enough is enough
You've suffered through this newsletter and deserve a little reward.

How about this for your New Year resolution diet...
